Senior Preconstruction Manager

Location(s): Orlando, Indianapolis, Chicago, Washington D.C.

Position is with a National REIT that develops, re-develops and manages Retail, Mixed-Use and Commercial projects. This role is involved from the pre-development and design stage through project completion and partners closely with Development, Project Management, Leasing (Tenants) and Architects.

 

Ideal candidate will have at least 7 years experience in Project Management and/or Estimating on related projects.

Project Engineer or Project Manager

Location(s): Indianapolis, Chicago, Northern Indiana Region

Position is with a Developer/General Contractor that builds Commercial, Mixed-Use and Multifamily projects. This new role will manage a high-profile project in Northern IN that includes multi-story concrete parking and mixed-use structures. This project will last approximately 2 years with additional project pursuits underway in Northern and Northwest IN to ensure a long-term opportunity.

 

Ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience managing Commercial projects as a GC.

Land Development EIT/Project Engineer

Location: Richmond, TX

Position is with a national builder and due to recent growth and demand, related to land development for their new Engineering Division.

 

The qualified candidate will function as a E.I.T. on a variety of engineering projects related to residential and site development projects. They will have a thorough understanding of the latest regulatory design criteria to provide solid decision-making and assist in professional recommendations regarding infrastructure planning and design.

 

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following

 

  • Assist in feasibility investigations for new project acquisitions including identifying project constraints, preparing cost estimates, and developing complete project schedules
  • Facilitate comprehensive design plan production for regulatory agency and Client submittals and approvals
  • Assist the Project Manager with Construction Administration and Management including site visits, bid documents, submittal reviews and pay applications
  • Coordinate and execute engineering services for assigned projects to include engineering reports, design calculations for infrastructure and drainage systems, overall grading, and pavement design
  • Attend and contribute to project progress meetings and agency review meetings
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and stay abreast of latest regulations and criteria for local, state, and federal regulatory agencies
  • Ability to implement innovative design concepts for efficiency and cost saving measures

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited college or university; must be a registered and active E.I.T. in the state of Texas with ability to obtain P.E. License

  • 2+ years of engineering experience related to Land Development Projects
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft office platforms; experience with Arc GIS preferred

 

 

 

 

 

 

Land Development Civil 3D Technician/Drafter

Location: Richmond, TX

Position is with a national builder and due to recent growth and demand, related to land development for their new Engineering Division.

We are currently looking for a CAD Technician for our Land Development Engineering Division in the Houston - Richmond office. The right candidate will provide design and drafting support on a variety of engineering projects related to residential and site infrastructure development. They will also have a basic understanding of the latest Autodesk Civil 3D software and must have previous experience preparing complete construction engineering drawings and details related to land development projects.

Essential responsibilities and requirements include the following

  • Perform routine drafting assignments that require judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations Perform accurate drafting and annotation for construction plan layouts, profiles, and detail sheets
  • Complete redlines for modification of existing design plans, notes, and details
  • Produce topographical profiles, alignments, cross sections, surface TINs, earthwork calculations, and grading plans with assistance from Senior Designer or Project Manager
  • Prepare comprehensive construction plans by compiling layouts, profiles, notes and detail sheets
  • Prepare quantity take-offs from conceptual drawings and final construction plans

Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing various design and drafting tasks Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work in a fast-paced environment. and work under guidance of engineers or senior designers to complete assigned work within budgeted time-frames

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. Certification in CAD software
  • General Autodesk Civil 3D experience required with at least 1-2 years of experience in residential land development design; GIS experience is preferred
  • Working knowledge of CAD standards, Civil 3D label styles, sheet set manager and drawing setup
  • Willingness to learn and expand responsibilities
